Can't they combine insect repellent/sunscreen?

Question:
Can you imagine the FORTUNE to be made with a product that has little or no scent and does both of these things to an adequate degree? Sorta like 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner?

If such exists I'd love to know! If the two products are incompatible in terms of ingredients, I'd like to know that too. But it seems to me anything that did even a HALF-arsed job of these two outdoor skin protectant jobs at the same time... would beat the single-purpose stuff hands down.

Answer:
-It certainly does already exist, but I wouldn't expect a fortune to be made. I've never seen the logic in the combination given that I try to keep sunscreen off my clothes while I apply DEET mainly to clothing edges to minimize absorption through the skin. I also usually apply DEET around dusk when the insects are worst and after there is any need for sunscreen.

Seems like the combination products are very inefficient and result in unnecessary chemical exposure.

-There are combined products on the market. Check your local drug or sporting goods stores. I'm not sure how popular they are, since many people use alot more sun screen then insect repelent. I try to minimize my use of the latter.
